Create a PDF of your Market Center Intranet Calender for free

Document Actions
This is a short set of instructions for installing software that will let you print anything as a PDF file, including your Market Center intranet calendar.

Do you want to create a nice PDF file that you can email to people from something you've seen online?  There is a free tool that will let you do this that you can download.  Here are the instructions, and then an example of how to use it using your Market Center calendar!

Step 1: Download and Install the PrimoPDF software

Go to http://www.primopdf.com/

This software is free to use. The company that produces it makes money by selling support and private label branded versions of the product.

Click on the "Download Now" graphic on the home page.

Save the file to your desktop.  Once it is saved, run the set up file.

Once the install is complete, you will be able to print from to PDF from any application.

Step 2: Print your Market Center Calendar with PrimoPDF

Log in to your intranet, and click on the Calendar Link on the left hand navigation.

Click the print button at the top of the Calendar page.

Select the "PrimoPDF" printer from the list of available printers in the Print dialog box.

Select the PDF Print quality.  Print quality will create a larger size file than Screen quality.  Screen quality is used for emails or when the image will only be viewed on a computer.
When I created my PDF of the Market Center calendar the print quality version was still really small, so print quality is fine for documents that are mostly text including the MC calendar.

Browse the location to save the file using the button on the right.  You will need to give the file a name.

Then click "OK".  The PDF file will be saved in the location you specified.

You are done!  You should be able to open your PDF file with Adobe PDF Reader.
To see an example output file, click here.  Here is what the file looks like:

You can obtain Adobe PDF Reader here.

Now you can print anything to a PDF file for easy emailing or distribution!
