Connecting your domain name to a KW agent website, part II

Registered a domain name and want to know how to use it with your KW agent website? This article describes how to do this with Directnic.com, a recommended domain name service.

These are the steps that you need to follow to configure your domain name to work with your Keller Williams agent website template. 

Step 1: Log in to DirectNic and click the link to manage the domains in your account.

Step 2: Click on the house icon for the domain you want to connect to your KW agent website template.



In this screen shot, I have several domain names.  I select the domain name I want to redirect by clicking on the house icon on the right hand side.

Select the domain name you want to connect to your Keller Williams template and click on the house icon.

Step 3: Change the hosting type to redirect with no frame.

Choose the redirect with no frame option from the list of choices.

Step 4: Put the URL (link) to your KW Agent website template into the redirect url field and click the redirect buton.



Enter the Keller Williams website template URL and submit.

This change may take up to 24 hours to go into effect.  Once your domain is active and working with your website, begin marketing your Keller Williams website - use it in your printed and electronic marketing, email signature, and outgoing voicemail messages!
